Small Group Enrollment Information
You must have at least one non-owner W-2 employee enrolled in a plan to qualify as a small group.
Owners (and their spouses) do not meet the requirments for employee enrollment needed to qualify a a small business group. Click here if you need information for individuals and families.
Open enrollment for small groups is on a rolling calendar. If your group originated in March, your enrollment year ends on the last day of February and your renewal needs to be completed before the 15th day of the month your enrollment year ends (Example: February 15th).

You do not need to belong to the Chamber of Commerce or be a resident of Webster to get enrollment assistance, and there is no cost to you for health insurance enrollment.

The Chamber offers enrollment assistance for small and large business groups, from the insurance carriers that offer group plans in our region, including Excellus and MVP Health Care. Enrollment is also available through the NY State of Health Marketplace, which is the only place to obtain employer tax credits. The Chamber has been providing health insurance enrollment assistance since 1938!

Small group coverage is available to employers with at least one employee (who gets a W-2), enrolled in insurance (who is not an owner or the spouse of an owner).
